The Monterey Bay Whale Watch Association is hosting this event where participants will learn about the wharf’s history, get their kids involved with activities, and have fun doing it!
This event will also put you in touch with all that’s going on in this magical place.
Here’s a little history about the Old Fisherman’s Wharf in downtown Monterey. It was built for regular passenger and freight service in 1845, and it is popularly known as Monterey Bay Whale Watching Capital of the World.
Currently, it is a major tourist destination as it has a lot to offer, from whale watching, glass-bottom boats, bay cruises, sailing, and a beautiful sight of a wide variety of marine life.
It also makes a good shopping and dining destination.
Talking of dining, it’s not just about seafood anymore! Breathtaking scenery, memorable sea sights, and historic buildings are just waiting for you.
There are tours out to the lighthouse if you want to get an even better look at our beautiful waters.
So, are you a fan of beautiful historical places, fascinating stories, and endless fun? If so, this is a great place to do it.
You can even see an old warehouse where boats were made and get some great insight into how the area used to be.
Join us on November 7th and learn about all there is to see and do at Monterey’s Old Fisherman’s Wharf.
Tickets might be hard to get if you don’t purchase them in advance, so make sure you do.
