Doing a project is an excellent way for kids to have fun and learn new skills.

MAKE-N-TAKE is an art project in Monterey that offers adults and their children a chance to come together and create unique, creative works of art that could be taken home or put on display as part of the City Hall Art Gallery.

The kids can make their sculptures or draw what they like. The caregivers are also welcome to join the fun and do art with their kids. Many activities for caregivers are scheduled as well, like painting, stenciling, and clay molding.

MAKE-N-TAKE is a collaboration between the Monterey Public Library and the City of Monterey.

The supplies for each project vary but typically include paper plates, newspapers, paintbrushes, crayons or markers, old magazines, glue sticks, and more. The participants have a chance to design their own projects.

This is a project planned by MY Museum, and it happens every Tuesday morning for the rest of October to 9th November 2021. It is from 11.00 am to 12.00 pm.
